Mrs. Audra J. Martin is a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a California native. She is also an Alumna of the California State University of Los Angeles. She has ten plus years of educational, behavioral mental health and clinical training and experience within various Los Angeles County school districts, non-profit behavioral mental health outpatient settings, an inpatient psychiatric hospital, and as a sole proprietor in a private practice setting.
Mrs. Martin utilizes her clinical experiences and training with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, Gestalt Play Therapy approaches as clinical methods to treating patients from children through adulthood. It is her warm and empathetic style that allows her to connect with her patients in a relational therapeutic manner.
As a therapist, Audra believes that change begins with a willingness to make direct but gradual changes in order to strengthen and facilitate one’s life narrative.
When not providing psychotherapy, Audra enjoys spending time with her husband and her Jack Russell Terrier on nature hikes in the beautiful California splendor. She also spends her time studying and fellowshipping at her local Christian congregation.
