Elham Ramtin, Psy.D. is a licensed psychologist (California License: PSY28884) with over ten years of clinical experience working with adult individuals, couples and families in various treatment settings. Dr. Ramtin earned her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University in 2007. Her passion for human experience flourished as she went on to pursue her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the American School of Professional Psychology (Argosy University), earning her degree in 2014.
Dr. Ramtin brings an empowering and collaborative strengths-based approach to her clinical practice, which is rooted in both psychoanalytic and psychodynamic theory. Dr. Ramtin has extensive experience supporting survivors of trauma through their healing process, helping individuals struggling with alcoholism and addiction along the journey of recovery, and providing tools for maintaining mental health using mindfulness meditation. Helping her patients create the safety and discover the self-compassion they need to transform their pain into growth, are hallmarks of Dr. Ramtin’s work.
