I received my Master’s Degree in Marital and Family Therapy from Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena, California, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Southern California. As a licensed Marriage and Family, my intention is to help my clients have healthy, fulfilling relationships with themselves and the people in their lives. I work to gain your trust and be your ally as you take on the challenges life places before you. Paramount to this therapeutic collaboration is empathy for your feelings and compassion for your unique life experiences. Our work together will be filled with respect, gentleness and consideration as you search for the meaningful, integrated life you deserve. It’s your process, whether you’re struggling to find your way back to the life you enjoy, or discovering a life you want to live, I’ll be with you as you make this journey.
I have a strong commitment to expand my knowledge and training, which has included becoming a Certified Bereavement Facilitator, annually attending workshops and trainings on treating trauma in children, adults, and older populations, as well as training on attachment, Interpersonal Neurobiology, and current research-based treatments addressing domestic violence and substance abuse. I have experience working with clients in recovery from chemical addiction, people dealing with chronic mental illness such as schizophrenia and bi-polar disorder, and couples and individuals working through issues of infertility, adoption and family building.
