My specialty is working with individuals and couples. In my work I help clients become more aware of their bodily sensations and use that language to identify feelings and thoughts. This provides clients with a full picture of their internal experience. This is extremely helpful especially to clients who have suffered from traumatic incidents or long-term traumas.
I love helping clients identify patterns/themes within their relationships, whether the relationship to oneself or to others. In the face of trauma people rely on their survival skills and forget how to really live. The goal is to help clients find safety and tranquility. This therapeutic perspective affords the client long-term help.
